There are four words in the KJV translated “Hell.” Of these four words, TWO of them is used in the Old Testament.
These words are: Sheol and Gehenna.
Gehennna was the boogey man of that time to threaten or punish a person to work this place or as a weapon to keep the young in-line. The ‘Jewish’ or Valley of Hinnom peoples of the Bible got rid of their refuse and the diseased dead, to keep pestilence and disease from infecting the nearby provinces and tribes - Gehenna was the place the burning of it all took place. Also as it is spoken of, this was a place the sacrifices of people and animals took place. It’s location is below the southern wall of ancient Jerusalem.
Stretching from the foot of Mount Zion east past the Tyropoeon to Kidron Valley. In the King James Version of the Bible, Gehenna appears 13 times in 11 different verses as "valley of Hinnom," "Valley of the son of Hinnom" or "Valley of the children of Hinnom." - (Joshua 15:8, Joshua 18:16, 2nd Kings 23:10, 2 Chronicles 28:3, 2nd Chronicles 33:6, Nehemiah 11:30, Jeremiah 7:31~32, Jeremiah 19:2, Jeremiah 19:6, Jeremiah 32:35 -the word “Gehenna” appears: Matthew 5:22,29,30, 10:28, 18:9, 23:15, 23:33; Mark 9:43,45,47; Luke 12:5; James 3:6) . This eternal fire theme carried forward into the New Testament and the Quran.
Matthew 23:33 (greek translation of Hebrew text), Jesus is quoted as saying, "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of gehenna?" The word gehenna is also found in the epistle of james, where it is said to set the tongue on fire. Many Christians understand gehenna be a place of eternal punishment called Hell similar to the annihilationist’s view of gehenna as a place where sinners are utterly destroyed, but not tormented forever.
In the New Testament, the three words translated “Hell” are “Hades,” “Gehenna,” and “Tartarus,” (some debate if all words are Greek or if Gehenna was Hebrew...could be romanized/Persian influence considering the conquering of Israel and the book of Ezra)
The Hebrew word “Sheol” does not mean either Hell or Grave or Pit. It means the unseen world or the place of departed spirits.
Hades-like Sheol, does not strictly or exclusively refer to Hell. Hades is the corresponding Greek word to the Hebrew word Sheol-both have the same meaning.
Tartarus - equates to the deepest abyss of Hades and means to incarcerate [imprison] in eternal torment. Quite similar to the punishment of working Gehenna.
(I have the name of the Greek scribe who created the Hell concept during the Nicean Council but I have to find it in my notes - please excuse me regarding this-the update will be added shortly)
The name given to Hell in Islam, Jahannam, directly correlates with Gehenna as well. Surah: [44.43] Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, [44.44] Is the food of the sinful [44.45] Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, [44.46] Like the boiling of hot water.
The Zaqqum is a tree Muslims believe grows in Jahannam (hell). The Khati'un are compelled to eat Adh-Dhari, bitter fruit, to intensify their torment (Qur'an 69:36-37). The Khati'un may eat only the fruit or Ghislin (foul pus from the washing of their wounds) (Qur'an 69:36). Its fruits are shaped like devils' heads (Qur'an 37:62-68). Zaqqum is a thorned tree that grows in Jahannam
Botany of Bible
Of the 22 trees of the Bible, the date palm, fig, olive, pomegranate and tamarisk are also included in the Koran. Unique to the Koran are the talh (possibly a banana plant or a species of the widespread genus Acacia), the sidr (a thorn bush, most likely Zizyphus spina-christi) and the mysterious and foul “tree of Hell”, or zaqqm (As-Saffat 37:65, Ad-Dukhn 44:49, Al-Waqi’a 56:51)
Surah 37:62-68: Is this not a better welcome than the zaqqm tree? We have made this tree a scourge for the unjust. It grows in the nethermost part of Hell, bearing fruit like devils’ heads: on it they shall feed, and with it they shall cram their bellies, together with draughts of scalding water. Then to Hell shall they return.
Religious texts such as the Islamic Hadiths, the Judaic Mishnah and the writings of the early Christian church also hold much information on plant lore and legend. Indeed, some references to plants in early Christian writings have become so familiar that they are now inferred to originate in the sacred texts.
Judaeo-Christian tradition has that in the Garden of Eden Eve enticed Adam with an apple from the forbidden tree. Yet, the Old Testament book of Genesis, the tree that is linked to the disobedience of Adam and Eve is not identified as an apple.
This is an ERROR - there is no mention of the apple being the fruit that caused the fall of mankind. Check the text below:
Genesis 3:1-6 (KJV)
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat
NOT ONE MENTION OF THE APPLE!!!!!!!
In Short botanically the message of the Bible can be summed up by the symbolism of four trees. The first was the tree of life in the paradise of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:22-24). This became the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (the second tree) of which Adam and Eve ate the fruit, causing the fall (Genesis 3:4-6, 17-18). Third Jesus’s cross is referred to as a “tree” The ancient Egyptians not only used cedar wood extensively, but also used a preservative from cedar resin, called “life of the dead”, in their embalming process.
The Christmas tree is a from a the pre-christian traditions of Yule. It has been incorporated in order to assist in assimilating 'radical patrons'. Yet this still hasn't stopped those who, in order to remain safe, use the saints and characters fo the bible as mocks of the Gods their ancestry dictates they serve.
You can traces of these truth in some systems Tarot cards.
Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross of Cedar this is linked to Deuteronomy 21:22-23: “If a man guilty of a capital offence is put to death and his body is hung on a tree, you must not leave his body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury him that same day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God’s curse”.
The Tree or Terebinth of Moreh, in Hebrew 'elon moreh, was undoubtedly the mighty tree with sacred associations. Moreh meaning "teacher, oracle giver." This tree (or a cluster of such trees) was so conspicuous and so famous that it served as a landmark to identify other sites in the area. Jesus taking the curse removes the curse of the tree of good and evil and leads to the last tree: the tree of life in the paradise of God with “… leaves of the tree … for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse” (Revelation 22:1-3).
The writings of the sacred tree. Particularly one associated with a sacred site and is well known in a variety of cultures. A distinguished tree of great antiquity - the "tree of life" or "cosmic," the stump of it symbolizing the "navel of the earth" and its top representing heaven. A bridge between the human and the divine spheres, becoming an arena of divine-human encounter, an ideal medium of oracles and revelation.
So why on the tree, knowing his purpose and outcome of life on Earth does this come as Jesus’ words from the cross?
Some findings -
Mark 15:33-35
33 At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lama Shabachtani?' or losely translated 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?' (can be found again in Matthew 27:45-47) closely parallel the words in Psalm 22:1 in both the original Hebrew as well as Aramaic Targumim.
the word lama Does Not appear in Aramaic or the Targum of Psalm 22:1. Although lema exists in Aramaic, the translators of this Targum used two words metul ma,meaning why
Shabachtani שׁבקתני appears to be a word of Aramaic origin- to leave, leave alone, entrust, bequeath, divorce, permit, forgive, abandon and forsake. It is used a total of five times in the Old Testament, all of which are found in the Aramaic portions of Daniel and Ezra. Now consider that there’s limited Aramaic interdependence between and Hebrew language after the return from the Babylonian captivity, review the root shabak שׁבק attested in Jewish writings such as the Jerusalem Talmud, which is where the Mishna is found.
Of the seven occurrences of shabak in the Mishnah, four are clearly couched in Hebrew prose. Talmud (31:5:1), shows words surrounding shabak. containing certain grammatical structures and lexis that are only Hebrew and not Aramaic. Observe the use of the letter ה he found at the beginning of words which means the (Aramaic has א – aleph at the end of words). Also the word שׁ Shay,(only Hebrew versus די di- only Aramaic). So shabak, which Jesus spoke on the cross, is in the Mishnaic language not of Aramaic, the language of the time.
All of this leaves one to ask – what was really said if anything was said from the Cross of Cedars? Who/what is Lama Shabachtani? (I have the knowledge of this data)

Lilith comes from the Sumerian term LÍL-TI, generally translated as "spirit of life," but interpretted as, "she who gives the breath of life," in the sense of "the entity who breathed life into the primordial man." Skillfully demonized by the dominant patriarchy of the Judaic religion, is concealed as the demonness. Later to be referred to as the human form of Jezebel of Revelations.

I also have data on the linkage of the major three religions via the Bible. More information on Jesus vs Horus and data on Jesus' brothers and sisters who reference can be found in
Matthew 13:55 -- Jesus at Nazareth
-- carpenter’s son
-- mother named Mary
-- brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas
-- sisters “with us”
Matthew 27: 55 -- The Crucifixion “Among them were Mary Magdalene and MARY THE MOTHER OF JAMES AND JOSEPH and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
Teachers of the Church from at least the fourth century attempt to say that Mary is considered by the following men to have remained a virgin throughout her life:
- Athanasius (Alexandria, 293 - 373)
- Epiphanius (Palestine, 315? - 403)
- Jerome (Stridon, present day Slovenia, 345? - 419)
- Augustine (Numidia, now Algeria, 354 - 430)
- Cyril (Alexandria, 376 - 444)
- and others
They have to read their own books.
Judas Iscariot - Iscariot means Palestine -
Palestine was not the name used in Biblical times. In the Old Testament, the area is the Land of Canaan, later to become Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel. A precise description is given in Numbers, Chapter 34:
- And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof)
Judas Iscariot was Jesus' brother. Many texts say Twin or most favoring Jesus. To Learn more on Jesus' brother Judas. Later i can take you into Hindu Persian Mongul References - let me know when you're ready.
Judas Maccabaeus was a High Priest and the first of the Hasmonean Rulers of Judaea, from about 168-161BCE. Again Hasmonea was a portion of Palestine which is known as Israel.
Another issue is the Moabite nationaility of King David and Solomon lineage from whom Jesus Descended- the line of Lot Abraham's nephew. Not from Abraham if you read Matthews 1 and compare to Genesis - a man named Haran (Hebrew: הָרָן) was born and died in Ur of the Chaldees.
He was a son of Terah &
Brother of Nahor and Abram(later Abraham). Haran was the father of Lot,
Milcah,and
Iscah(Genesis 11:27, 29; Genesis 13:14 shows the seperation).
Ruth daughter of Lot The wife of Boaz; the mother of Obed; an ancestor of Jesus and great grandmother of King David. Matthew 1 and Ruth 2:20; 3:3; 3:12; and Chapter 4 - Ruth was converted to Judiaism-per the rabbinic laws of the Halacha & AGAIN IN KINGS 11:2. Kings 11:19 talks of the family having this mixed blood and the issue of keeping others from marrying other nations also the results.
Mattathias or Matthews(English Matthew, meaning "gift of God. Letters of New testament are from Old testament persons; ancestor of Jesus, found in Luke. Greek Mattathias, meaning "gift of God.) a hasmonean priest who led revolts against those who punished the practice of Judaism or GREEK rule. Led by Mattathias of the priestly Hasmonean family and then by his son Judah the Maccabee (also Judas Iscariot) the Jews subsequently entered Jerusalem and purified the Temple (164 BCE), events commemorated each year by the festival of Hanukkah.
**This is very superficial data that I have compiled - the applications of the bible and how to view it according to you and you purpose and place are foremost in the matters of importance. Yet I put this piece of my book out here to give an idea of some findings on the a topic(s).
My primary purpose with religious writing is building the bridge to assist in eliminating religious prejudices so that together we can elevate beyond inhumanity. Becoming humane enough to go farther than simply tolerating one another and thoroughly embrace acceptance.
